I received a letter in the mail accusing me of write fraud, due to a pay day loan with EZ money which I've never done. It named my employer at the time, which was about 14 years ago. The letter stated that they would sell civil legal action against me for for immediately closing or changing my bank account to prevent them from taking the payment. I only ever used amscot for pay day loans and it was never for that much money. Ever. They also stated that they reserve the right to subpoena my current significant other, whom i didn't know until years later and my mother, who was already dead at that time, as witnesses to testify against me. Total scam.
