I filled out the application for a new job on indeed.com and I was contacted by a guy claiming his name was Anton Martinez and that I needed to download the signal app to schedule an interview with Marissa Sherman. I kept thinking that the name sounded familiar. I was asked a few job related questions, they told me that I scored 83 percent out of 100. Told me that I had been hired and that I needed all this equipment to do the job but I had to pay 200.00 via cash app to receive the equipment. Sent me messages up until midnight, asking for money. I then looked up the business and names that I was given.

The scammer attempted to get me to deposit a fraudulent check to cover expenses for the new job. The return address of the envelope was for TRC Electronics Inc of Pennsylvania, and the check was issued from Secret Gardens Winery & Farm Inc.
