NO SCAM!, From my personal experience these people are actually doing a great job, letting us get the benefits which we already should be getting from our insurance, they are very polite and professionals, their only problem is that they have fatasss Gobeja in the office ((

I have a HMO so I know it is a scam. Annoying beyond belief. I do my Bible study when they call. I start reading the Bible to the caller until they hang up. Or any book will do.

lmao was that u? my co-worker told about u

At worse, Group Plan Pharmacy is a fraudulent scam seeking to take advantage of unsuspecting victims. At best, they are an unscrupulous, highly unprofessional, low-rate organization that won’t follow ethical rules, business etiquette, FTC guidelines, and common decency. There is no in between. A company that can’t follow a simple “Do Not Call” request ALWAYS has something up their sleeve, because that is what companies legally have to honor. According to FTC rules, they must honor it. You can look it up. They try to skirt around by saying, “This is not a sales call.” Regardless, if the request is made, they MUST honor it. They don’t. So why should anyone trust the word of this company based on their behavior. They’ve called me several times a day. I’ve told them several times to desist. At that point, it’s harassment. I love how all of these so-called “employees” and “satisfied customers” are on here defending. Anyone can put faux comments purporting to be advocates of a company. It’s a game. They are indefensible. If there’s an inkling of a chance they are legitimate—there is not—their business model will get them shut down in time. You can’t operate like that. In all, it’s a game. If you have free stuff for me, send the free stuff and don’t call me. They’re fishing for information. It’s an older game played poorly. Don’t fall for it!

Called me DOZENS of times. I answered some questions but kept questioning WHO they were snd if I could verify with my insurance. They would never answer those questions. Refused to give me their name when talking to them. One man, who was incredibly rude and YELLED at myself and my husband said his name was Bob and would not give me a last name. Told me he was the supervisor. Could not provide a website. Were INCREDIBLY rude.
Refused to even tell me WHO their supervisor is. Finally got someone to tell me that his name is Andrew Matthews. However, refused to give me his email or phone number. Would only say HE would call ME next time he was in the office. What?! Ridiculous! They need to be shut down! All of the phone numbers in the pictures below are them calling me today. ALL of them.

Received two calls in one day claiming they (Group Plan Pharmacy) contract with my PPO insurance. After going down through a list of medications/health issues asking if I had them ... said they could get us multi-vitamins and probiotics for no cost and asked what pharmacy I used. I asked the name of her pharmacy again and she told me Group Plan Pharmacy (so I could check with my insurance and call her back) She hung up when I asked for her phone number.

I've received 9 calls from them. They are very persistent even after I told them I knew it was a scam and read the warning from my insurance provider.

The first time they called, I asked the name of the pharmacy and I was told "Group Plan Pharmacy" and that if I look on my insurance card, I will see the words, "Group Plan." I said, "Of course my card is going to be group plan on my card. Not as a pharmacy but because I receive my insurance through my employer and that's our group number.

I've told them to stop calling me, but I still get at least one call a day.

I just filed a complaint with https://tips.oig.hhs.gov/. You can do the same.

This is a scam. I asked for their NPI number which they should have and can provide if they deal with healthcare, medical and or pharmacy. They didnt know what an NPI # was and they just kept reading from a script. Also, they have a large bank of phone #s so when you block one, their call systems uses another.

3-5 calls a day. Block Number, robodial from another. I am on the DNC and have no previous business relationship with them. Therefore, they are in violation of FTC rules. Legitimate businesses follow the laws, rules, and common courtesy of not pestering those who state they are not interested. Group Plan Pharmacy does not.
I will not do business with a company who operates this way. Furthermore, it is a bottom feeding attempt to milk money from your insurance plan even if it is legit.

Today some [censored] named Tony was intent on getting his scripted rant to me, he even called me back after I hung up. "Seven Benefits" woo hoo. STFU.
Why shove it down my throat? You only agitate me more.
Scam, Not a Scam, who cares. I ask not to be called multiple times a day, they do anyway. Sell your "service" to someone who wants it. I do NOT.

!STOP CALLING ME!

They call 3+ times per day and refuse to remove you from the list. If they are such a legit business, where is their web presence? If your "proof" that this is a real company is a barely coherent response to multiple complaints, then contact me because I also have some pharmacy benefits to sell you along with some beachfront lots in Arizona.

Refused to give me their name when talking to them. Could not provide a website. Were INCREDIBLY rude.
Refused to even tell me WHO their supervisor is. Ridiculous!

All of these posts on here talking about how this place isn't a scam seem off too.

Why are these people signing off with their full names on a website talking about how concerned they are about giving out their personal information?

"oh yeah I felt comfortable because they didn't ask me for any information, Sincerely Full Name."

Not at all suspicious.

+6

These people will not stop calling me. They ask for everyone in my family so I'm fairly certain they've just purchased our information from our phone company or something.

If they are legit they're not doing themselves any favors with their practices. They take forever to respond when you answer, they call from a different number EVERY TIME, they don't have a call back number, reference number or anything. They can't tell you in any clear terms what they want, it's always some "oh ma'am ma'am we're a pharmacy". I don't even have a PPO. They wont take me off the list, even when I ask nice, when I say it's the wrong number.

I don't know if this is the same company or not but their website lists their CEO's personal email, and when you google him you get his linkden page and a bunch of stuff about a missing kid so just throwing out insane theories here but I think the whole thing is a shame.

If they're not a scam they're way to unprofessional for me to want to deal with.

*sham

but shame applies as well.

wait! who even make this file? NOT SCAM!
I was randomly search the name and see this I was wondering what happen since November I have this calls one day we listen to this it's was strange for sure but then the insurance call us so we sure that is legit and we got the first packages and I was call insurance nothing happen we pay nothing and we got our things
I'm sure people here that don't know about this for sure HIGH ON DRUGS I SAW THEIR COMMENTS . SOME ONE TALK ABOUT THEIR IPHONE SOME ONE TALK ABOUT THEIR CREDIT CARD FOR SURE YOU GUYS ARE HAVING PROBLEM

They are scamming the insurance companies. They send unsolicited prescriptions to your doctor for authorization. Your doctor provides the authorization because they are representing themselves as a pharmacy, however they do not have a NPI number. Yes, you (the recipient of the meds) are getting the benefit of "free" medications but your insurance company is paying the cost, and things like this is what continues to drive up medical drug cost. Someone found a loophole in the system and they are using it to their benefit.

[censored]

Me i also have received my first benefit package from them with some multivitamins and probiotics that's covering under my blue cross blue sheild insurance. I don't have idea what people are posting about them that they are scamming!

You write English as well as the people who call me from this scam speak it. Gee, not at all suspicious. Also, when you were "randomly Googling" this organization, it should have struck you that the only results are for complaints and warnings.

You alright, Kath?

I feel that this must be a scam of some sort, why else would random people call me several times a day? If it were legit, then they would take "no" for an answer, which I have said several times. I don't think that this is coming from my insurance company, I think that a security breach for a health care provider may be a source. Once the information has been obtained illegally, no telling where it could go!

Ok Jason ... then answer some simple verification questions please
What is your website?
Who is the supervisor of The Group Plan Pharmacy? And why can’t I have his phone number or email?
Why did your company call me DOZENS of times today?
Why did your employee tell me his name was BOB (it clearly was not) and refuse to give his last name?
If it is so legit...why the secrecy?

Hi Ernie, I have been working with the Group Plan Pharmacy for almost a year now and I can guarantee that this company is not a scam. We are actually in a way, helping premium members under PPO plans to activate the benefits that their insurances don’t tell them about. You as plan members are paying over 300 dollars a month for your insurances for what? That is what your insurance is hiding from you, because they don’t want you to know that you have all these high quality oct medications that they can cover for you because they would get less money. So please just listen to the agent and hear what they have to say, because at the end of the day, they are just helping you realize you have these benefits that you can activate. Jason

The Group Plan Pharma would only request the medications and vitamins that you requested over the phone. No medications and vitamins will arrive that aren't requested.

Hi guys. Some of u say it is a scam, some of u dont. It is my second year that im using the service. Im not a dumb person but also im not rude, so when i first got the call, it seemed like scam, but i wouldn't say it is a scam as long as he wasn't asking for my credit card or social security. I just listened. He was a nice guy named Thomas. He listed out 11 otc meds and asked me if i had any preferences. The time that i understood it is not a scam is when i asked him if these meds are free, he said that "if someone calls u and offers u something for free, they are prolly scam, these meds are your 11 telemedicine benefits that u already have paid for, that's why the reason u get them at zero cost is not cus it is free, it is because ur insurance is covering. There is a difference!" He explained really nicely and i kept talking, answered some simple questions that cant get me scammed technically. We finished the call and i was happy that i listened politely and he didn't ask for credit card or sth. After a few days Cigna called me, i verified that i utilized benefits and i asked if it would cost me sth more(copay, deductible, premiums) they told me no, cus it is already been paid by me. Then in 2 weeks i got meds for migraines. I was usually paying for it. Now i get my other otc needs from em as well. Because of the sales calls and stuff we judge them, but lets not be senseless. Because when u listen it makes sense. Thanks! Edgar Aguilar.

Its a scam. They use your insurance info to order more than what you asked for and keep it. Probably sell it on Amazon or whatever. This is making meds more expensive because a lot of people are falling for it.

So these calls started in august for me and I always used to hang up and one time I gave them a chance and they had my address name number almost every information for service call that they were claiming that is was only the service call and not the sales call and he had incorrect date of birth for me and when I said that he told me that there was a mix up with files so I obviously thought it was the scam and hung up immediately (end of August) and in the beginning of September i still received their calls and I gave them the second chance and the thing this ,,benefit specialist " told me was that I don't want any info from u and i just have to list this medications for u and i followed her trough the conversation and went trough the process and gave the dob to her myself because she explained to me one thing, that not all the insurance companies want us to know about our own benefits and thats why they handle the informational part of this TELEMEDICINE BENEFITS SERVICE that we really pay trough our premiums and it made more sense, because if I didn't utilize my benefits the money that insurance charges me will be gone and IT seems that the one who is scamming us is insurance companies not these guys because they don't even provide us with whole information about our benefits and we still get charged for us so I went trough the whole process and gave this girl a chance because she can not scam me with knowing date of birth and in one week I got follow up call from my ppo health plan insurance and they verified that I had a consultation over the phone and then after one week I got my highest quality vitamins and other over the counter products at my doorstep and I haven't even paid a single dollar to them. So turns out they are trying to help and we really do have this benefits that we didn't know about cause our insurance is not providing us with enough information and all the money we pay for this ppo and telemedecine is gone in the air if we don't utilize it.

+31

I wish they called me also. [censored]ing insurance companies should provide us with more information about our benefits

wow

They are not a scam. I have personally utilized my benefits under the AETNA's ppo type of plan i am a holder of currently. It is understandable that the service is perceived as a scam considering all the telemarketing/solicitation calls going on on a daily basis, but with proper listening and judging abilities, an owner of a ppo can easily comprehend the fact that they are actually entitled to have this service fully covered by their insurance. It is TELEMEDICINE/Telehealth service meaning that the information has to be provided over the phone, i have personally utilized the metabolic multivitamin, pain cream and the migraine medication, received the highest quality brands at my doorstep, in approximately 3 weeks, fully covered by my AETNA. before the delivery, i received a verification call from AETNA, to verify that it was really me who has started using this specific telemedicine service, was asked to verify the doctor's name handling my benefits for this one time, which was Timothy Martin, a licensed telemedicine physician in TX, part of the ppo network of physicians i and each and every ppo owner has access to.
The conversation with the person calling counts as an indirect consultation over the phone with the Telemedicine doctor, since the file is created for the doctor, for the purpose of choosing the most beneficial/appropriate medications for the patient, that is why those specific over the counter benefits are covered under telemedicine service, which is technically already paid for by the yearly premiums ,which as mentioned, remain unchanged.
Sincerely, Donna.

Its a scam. They use your insurance info you gave them to order all kinds of meds. They send you some and keep the rest. Meanwhile selling them and ordering more all the time. This drives up med costs for everyone. Visit your health insurance website to verify. They all have statements about this new scam. Since you have Aetna, here is the explanation from them: https://www.aetnamedicare.com/en/footers/fraud-waste-abuse.html
