I got a voicemail from an ************ number in regards to a online payday loan and was asked to call back ************ number. When I called they stated I had did and online payday loan but could tell me the amount, the dates, or where the company was located. They stated I would be served at my home or place of employment to appear in court, they asked haven’t I been getting the notifications at my home address and I asked them to verify that address and they have an old address but I never received anything because I NEVER applied for a loan. I HAVE NEVER applied for a payday advanced! I searched the company name they gave me which was in Ohio and called them. I spoke with their fraud department with ****** and he stated he didn’t see any of my information in the system. Now they have been calling back to the number I have called from fishing for information, they even called back yesterday and lied and said that there was a family emergency to get employment information for me. I have never applied for a payday loan and they are harassing me and my job. I searched the ************ number and several post come up and it was alerted as Top Complaint Scam and the verbiage was word for word that others was complaining about,
