Saw a local woman on facebook who goes by the name Guardian dog rescue out of Moyock, NC on 254 Green View Road. We filled an application to purchase a puppy under the pretense that she was a certified business, that the dog would be vet checked and health cleared, that she had veterinary training. We adopted the puppy and paid a non refundable cash only deposit. I asked what was wrong with the dog bc it was barely moving and had an extremely distended stomach. She claimed in text and in person it was just vet cleared for health. We later found out it was not seen by a vet ever. We had to take the puppy two days later to emreg. It had extreme parasitism and parvo. When we confronted her she said she would help with the vet bill and refund our money. She never has and threatened to sue us with legal action through a letter from her lawyer if we told anyone. So she is pretending to be a non profit animal shelter rescue who gets dogs vetted. Non of it is true. The dog still months later has permanent damage and will have to be on a special diet for the rest of its life. We have vet bills and records and a letter from our vet backing up all these claims. I also have a disk with 350 files of evidence and the scams she is pulling online.
