They sent me a check through email had me deposit it then sent me an order for office equipment form kikofficesupplies.com then had me zelle the payment and send a picture of the payment. I have tried contacting kikofficesuppies for confirmation of the order that I'm supposed to receive today......no answer to my chat messages.

I was contacted by Katherine Williams for a job position for Data Entry for $27/hr and was given an interview three days after they first made contact. The interview was short but didn't raise suspicion and I was eventually "hired." A check was sent to me for office equipment however the check bounced and never went through because of insufficient funds. That was when I looked into the company again and found multiple articles of this exact scam (there was none at the time of me being "hired.")

I got contacted about a job offer with this company. I went through an interview process, took a personality quiz, and received a job offer letter. All of this was handled through email. I was then told they were going to send me a check to purchase office equipment, which I deposited. The person sent me the link to purchase the equipment, and the payment option was venmo. I felt sketchy about it, but proceeded. The check later bounced, and my account was negative by the $500 I sent through venmo. They wanted me to send $1400 more through Zelle, which I did not do.
