I purchased services from hackersgrouponline.com for legit hacking of my own phone. They said it would cost $500 payable by Bitcoin. For the services, I agreed. They provided a link to use to purchase Bitcoins and send them over to a specified address. I purchased BCH type Bitcoin and then forwarded it to a specific Bitcoin address where Hacker could retrieve. They then proceeded to tell me I needed to use a BTC type address instead and that I've lost the $500. They said I needed to send another $250 to them at the special BTC Bitcoin address. So, I went and purchased that and sent it. After a day to two, I learned that Hackers could indeed retrieve the 1st $500 from the BCH if they knew how to. So, now I'm out$750 so far. I was contacted a few days later indicating that job was done and provided a link. I tried the link and it led me to a web page full of fake folders none of which were phone folders. If I clicked on them it sent me to an HTML page that just said Access denied. It was a web page designed to look like I'd actual submit some protocol or password. It was fake. When I complained they needed another $250 to encrypt some kind of information so then I could use the link. When I asked them for proof that any of this actually works, they would not show any proof at all. I decided to cut my losses. If you can't at least somehow prove this works, then I would spend hours and hundreds of dollars in a web of lies. They will not refund my money. It looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to.
