I clicked an add on Facebook to promote monster energy drinks said they would put a wrap on my car and pay me $800 a week for advertising. I knew something was wrong it seemed to good to be true maybe a week later I received a letter in a priority envelope from a Hailey Clark?? Inside was a check for 2,850 I was to text the phone number after I deposited the check with the receipt from my bank? And I was to get $2,000 in visa vanilla gift cards to pay the person for the wrap $800 was my weekly payment and $50 was for gas. It seemed off the letter didn’t have a monster heading. Their were 3 different names so I contacted the monster energy drink company in corona California and they said it was a scam and to please report it to the Better Business Bureau. The only contact I had with the individuals is through text messaging I tried calling the number but it just rang. I received the exact check the next day same numbers and everything this time the letter was different it had images and logos on it
