On Facebook, there was an advertised self-defense tool exclusively for women (SparkForce Twinkle 50,000,000 SafeGuard Ring. I went to the advertisement and made a purchase and received a counterfeit ring, nothing like I ordered. It took almost 2 months to receive my counterfeit ring, I had to reach out to the company and they sent a counterfeit product.

Scammer (under “hallowforest”) uploaded ads on Facebook and Instagram showing a stun ring and stun knuckle ring with electricity to be used as tasers for protection from strangers. Ad had videos. What they sent was a simple cheap metal ring and a regular metal knuckle ring. Upon emailing them with photos etc their reply every time was this email below. Upon research I found many Facebook posts saying they are scammers

I ordered taser rings that were advertised on TikTok. The website showed rings with chargers and are clearly being sold as tasers. After waiting a month to receive my order, the rings arrived and they are just rings. There is no charging port, and no possible way these rings are tasers as advertised. My first red flag is when the PayPal charge went to “lovelivingchic limited” and then confirmation email came from hallowforrest. Upon receiving my package, I immediately emailed the company to inform them on my disappointment. They assured me they sent the correct items and refused to refund me or help me any further. Thankfully I made this purchase via PayPal and was able to dispute my charge this way.
