I received an email stating that I authorized a payment of $969.00 to Coin-base Inc. via PayPal for the purchase of cryptocurrency. I did not purchase any cryptocurrency, I have never heard of Coin-base Inc., and I have not used PayPal in several months. It stated that I have 24 hours from the time of the transaction to dispute and stop the transaction, and to call the TOLL-FREE number +1 (833) 793 8585 to reach PayPal Support. I logged in to the ****** website and looked at the last three months of my transactions, and nothing has been listed. This appears to be a scam to scare people in to calling the number the email listed for PayPal Support.
