Type of a scam Employment
On the job post for "Clerical Assistant" there was a Telegram account to contact, which I did. Went through an "interview" and sent an offer of employment through email. This was over a week process where they sent me checks to deposit than requested I Zelle money to different people for their "vendor" to prepare and send me equipment so that I could work for them. I fell for it until they requested my bank account login info.
I do not believe the company itself scammed me, but that scammers used this business's website to seem legitimate.
This has been reported to my local police department, bank, etc.
