Hired service to install new bannister/railing in home based on their saying they had experience with this type of project. They sent a worker who showed up without tools (red flag), without nails (red flag), and with wife and son (weird). I signed off on his Homer Simpson-style completion because I felt bad for him and did not want to embarrass him in front of family and because I thought I would get my money back. STUPID! TOO TRUSTING! Contacted Handi Partners after he left who blamed me for signing off on project (true, but not professional). "James Baldwin," I learned, was the marketing person who told me to call another "James" who said I would get refunded. Did not receive refund and they stopped returning my calls. Live and learn.
