My grandson wanted to have a bird so we went to a bird sanctuary in New Jersey. My grandson was going to a special school, a learning center, and the bird was what he wanted once he completed the school. At the sanctuary, my grandson fell in love with the birds which cost in the thousands of dollars. At that time, I went online and saw how much a bird would cost. I saw the site handraisedparrots.com and saw pictures of birds and prices were very much lower than the sanctuary. I contacted handraisedparrots.com by email and they got back to me right away. I said that I was interested in the macaw which was listed for $500.00, I said I would like to purchase it for $300.00 and the gentleman said $450.00 which would include airfare. I was to go Western Union or Monogram and wire $450.00 to Zera Peterson, Mentor, OH @ 614 922 8951. At this time I have not sent any money.
