Attached is the contract and conversation I saved and screenshotted with his name. I did not give him any bank or card information, although he asked. He deleted our original contact, where he asked for my # on uptowork app. Hope this helps someone else not be as stupid as I was. Also, I did not sign my real signature.

Thanks for sharing. I was hired as well and knew it was fishy so I investigated. Five years working with Upwork and this is the first time experiencing a scam this good! I didn't use real signature either.

I applied for a virtual assistant job and he messaged me. It all seemed to good to be true and it was. They have multiple websites including handelarcitects.com.

He wanted my banking info to “send money” for thing she needed for his job.
Also, wanted my drivers licenses.
Please be aware!
