I initially contacted Hank Caverhill on Kijiji in May 2018. He was helpful, curtious, and cooperative. He stated he could obtain a used but new Silkirk chimney, extras, and labor for $1750. I advanced him cash to purchase the product. Hank began giving excuses as to why he could not install the chimney when promised, the main reason being he had an accident and the doctor required him not to work for several months. Now 17 months later, he is still hiding behind his medical excuse. When I told him we needed a WETT chimney inspection and also asked if I could speak to his doctor regarding verification of his injury, Hank cut off all communications. He is now non responsive to e-mailed, phone calls, letters, phone messages, social media links, etc. Since other complaints have been filed with the BBB, I assume he has done this before to other people.
