The link takes you to a short survey about your online shopping habits, then when completed it ask for your shipping information and has you provide your payment information to cover shipping and handling.
In about 2 weeks I reeived the earpods and thought nothing more about it till I woke up this morning and had a charge of $119 from my account from "happybodyperfectcurvew". I logged on to my card account and got the phone number listed under this charge and called them.
They stated that I agreed to some membership and would receive shipments periodically and be billed. They couldn't tell me what was shipped or if anything was even shipped.
I told them to cancel anything they had signed me up for and refund my money. The lady stated she cancelled it and I would receive my refund in 5-7 days. I am not sure if I will see a refund or not, but big lesson learned.
As I am explaining this scam, I just received another text from the same scammers with a similar claim. The number they texted me from this time is 714-366-9119.
