Type of a scam Debt Collections
They left the number 1.855.246.7291 along with the reference number #289470 to refer to. I called and it was a supposed answering service. She asked for the reference number and was redirected. Next, a boy answered claiming to be an attorney for a debt collector. THEY HAD MY REAL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE #, SS#, ALONG with information about a real creditor from my credit report but not with accurate info!!!!! They claimed it was an attempt to collect a debt. They threatened me; to come to my home and threatened to ruin my credit. I told them they were lying. They hung up after threatening my safety and peace of mind again.
