I found a craiglist post stating that this man was looking for someone to rent his home for 1200.00. So I contacted him via email. He told me right away he just left for Texas and he really wished he could have showed me the property but his wife had leukemia so I was really taken back and he sent me an application. I filled it out emailed it back the next day and not even 5 minutes later he texted me stating he spoke to his lawyer and wife & I got the house. He said all utilities were included except internet and I could move in right away but I had to send the deposit immediately which was 1,085 supposedly refundable. I then asked if I could meet with his lawyer but said his lawyer was with him and he would just mail me everything to my current address. Big read flag was his number is in California but he resides in between Texas and Nevada. Theres no trace of him on social media and his phone number doesnt pull anything up.
