I was searching for a toddler's bedframe during a general online search. This particular website's product showed up during my search. What drew my attention was the extremely low price. They were selling a toddler's bedframe for only $25. It appeared that the bed was on clearance, so I jumped at the chance to make the order. There was nothing blatantly suspicious about the website other than I had never heard of it before. It seemed like a US business page and appeared like a legit website with ample information regarding refund policies (which were quite liberal) and reasonable costumer service hours for questions or complaints. I made my order on July 29th. Immediately, I received was seemed like a legitimate receipt of order, however, it took them until August 22nd to claim that the order had been shipped out. On that receipt was a link to an online tracking device but it wasn't FedEx or UPS. The tracking website was in Chinese and no matter how many times I put in my tracking number in I always received an error message. I surmised that perhaps this was a US company shipping products from China and perhaps, that's why the product was so cheap. From past experiences, products being shipped from China can take an extremely long time to arrive. Finally, around September 17th, I decided to reach out and complain. There was no phone number only an email address that seemed to have nothing to do with the name of the actual website. The email was "relief" at so and so dot com. I received a response the next day with grammatical errors as if the representative did not speak good English. In it, they sent me an image of a completely different tracking website that showed multiple shipping arrangements in Chinese that eventually pointed to my hometown but not address. According to the image they showed, it claimed that the package was delivered on the same day that they sent the email that it was being shipped (Aug 22). In the email they suggested that I could look up the tracking using this alternative site that was completely different from the original tracking site mentioned in the earlier emails. However, this site only led you the same conclusion that they themselves had shared - the package was delivered. I emailed them back and told them regardless, I never received my package. I received a response the next day stating that they too suffered a lost and they were sorry, but they could only offer me a 5% discount. It ended by stating, "Does this satisfy you? We look forward to your reply!" Again, the title of the message didn't seem quite legit, and the message was full of grammatical errors as if it were written in broken English. I finally, realized that perhaps I had been scammed so I did a quick internet search and discovered multiple claims that this website is a scam and can even leave a virus on your device. In retrospect, one thing that stands out is that from the web address to the email address on the receipt to the costumer complaint email address - they all had different names, "melodious, relief, harmony"... etc. But when you hovered over them, they reportedly were coming from the same address.
