Advertises guitars, amplifiers etc. Shipping is included in price. 8/2-Order placed for guitar amp for $2064.99. 8/3-Tried to call vendor but number was not in service. 8/5-Sent email to cancel order. At this point we were thinking it was a scam. 8/6-Vendor responded saying order was ready to ship but he could still cancel it. 8/6-We told him to cancel the order and sent a refund. 8/6-He responded saying order was canceled and we would receive a refund. 8/7- Began getting emails from Paypal with a $25 refund and a $40 refund. Sent email to vendor asking where the rest of the money was. 8/8-Recieved and email through PayPal saying the order was shipped but there was no tracking information. Sent an email to the vendor through PayPal expressing my confusion and asking what was happening with the order and why we were not receiving the rest of the refund. 8/9- Received an email from [email protected] saying "I hope you can file a dispute with PayPal and get the rest of your money back. Thank you. " This email was connected to the business we ordered from. Cleara scam and really frustrating. I have already spent countless hours on the phone with my bank and have filed a claim with PayPal to get the issue resolved.
