I was scammed by employees of Pixel Web Studios. I initially spent for the domain and 1 year maintenance. I spent over $7500 on website maintenance and other "legal" fees and nothing to show for it. I have managed my website on my own since it was initially created. Harris, the project manager, did not do anything except ask for money and his "developer" was the person who helped him scam me, and probably tons of other people. I changed the theme of my website yesterday, my website then gets "hacked" and I'm told that I have to pay $799 to get it back and patch in the "spyware and security walls" however, I did further research and saw that the theme of my website was changed by the developer to the same image that the "hacked" image was, when looking at the website. I noticed this and was able to change it and correct the issue however, I was still being told that I needed to pay $799 before it would work again which is completely false. I have proof that the developer went and made the changes to cause the appearance of a hacked page to get more money. I am bugged every other day for additional money for another reason and if I don't pay it "the site will be taken down." Which is ridiculous. I can buy a domain and copyright everything for $599 and less and I have paid almost $8000 for nothing. I don't want this happening to anyone else and they need to be stopped.
