Hartman Weber Mediations is fraudulently hounding me to pay a fake debt in an old Wells Fargo checking account. Somehow they got the actual checking account number. They also informed me they have my SSN. They claim I owe $846 for an old Wells Fargo checking account, closed around 2013. May 22, 2024 I contacted Hartman Weber by phone and was referred to the "case manager" for my "case". Case manager threatened me they would report me to Chex Systems if I don't pay. Case Manager also told me if I pay $500 today they will close the case. "Case manager" sent a fake "Settlement Letter". I have not contacted them since nor will I ever. I searched ScamPulse.com website and found (5) complaints almost identical to mine. Hartman Weber never answered ANY of them. I contacted Wells Fargo Collections May 23, 2024 who verified they do NOT have any outstanding debt still owed.

These scammers called me via a robo dial claiming a legal action is pending and I was to call them to put my statement on the record. If I did not I would miss that opportunity. That is a total misrepresentation of how the law works. They are by law supposed to notify me in writing or any impending litigation. At that time i would have the opportunity to respond directly to the court. They have not sent me ANYTHING in writing nor do they represent me in any fashion to take my statement and submit my statement to a court or anyone else. When I called back I was hung up on every time I asked for the name of the company. On the 5 call I was given the name but was still hung up on when I told them the call was being recorded. I continued to call back requesting a supervisor and was again hung up on. I finally got a supervisor and he too hung up when I said the call was being recorded. Nevada is a one party state, I did not have to notify them of recordings. More interested in how they would react. Only scammers and those using illegal tactics hang up. I am also reporting them to both the state and federal attorney general’s offices and the FTC. If I find an attorney on their staff I will be contacting the state bar as well.

This company calls me looking for a person that no longer has this number. I have called several times to notify them of the change and they continue to keep calling me

They provided me my SSN, every call stated about litigations and continued on. They stated they receive the case in 2015 so it has not met the statute of limitations. my account issues happened in 2005/2006 so nearly 20 years. He stated we have sent contact information and as i fired back that i have not received anything. they asked if the bank sent me info. and i told him back in the 2000's, and they already reported it to the collection agencies which also hit my Credit Report and has since, been removed from my record after handling it. He stated i should have kept my records. and i forced him to hold for 10 minutes while i investigated his company. No website, no details, just scam information. So i even told him i searched things up and all i come up is with a scam details and everything. he stumbled a moment and then went back on the lawyer song and dance. So i closed the call with him and blocked the numbers. During the entire call, he did not sound professional at all and tried to respond to my questions with blanketed answers.
