I received several phone calls from Donald Stanford who said he was a representative of Harvest Financial Services located @ 549 McConnell Street, Knoxville, TN 37915. His phone number is (876) 407-8519. He told me that I had won $1.7 million and a brand new Merecedes Coupe. He asked me if I wanted a lump sum of money and told me that if I didn't deposit the funds in one account I would need to pay $2,500, if I wanted to split the funds between more than one account. He asked if I could pay $1.000.00 and I said no. I then offered to pay $500. I sent a $500 Cashier's Check from Key Bank which I sent to the address listed above to the attention of James Chandler. I was told the cashier's check had to be made out to Roger Bowen, not Harvest Financial. This check was sent 09/04/18. I went back to the bank later that day and closed my existing checking account and asked if I could put a stop payment on the Cashier's Check. The bank told me I would have to wait 24 hours. On September 5 I went back and the bank stopped payment on the cashier's check. They called my house and my son answered and they told him they were going to deliver a check to me. My son questioned me about the situation. Donald Stanford called me and asked if I was going to be home so they could deliver the check. He also asked if my son would be at home. Donald Stanford still continues to call me, asking if I will be home so they can deliver the check. I am going to stop answering his calls.
