After finding what I thought was a great deal on a hard to find Havanese puppy, the scammers wanted payment via Zelle in the amount of $700 and that shipping would be free because of a coupon they had with their shipping company (https://sunshineexpressshippingprime.com). I sent that along with a "Deposit and Sales Agreement" at which point I was told that the shipper needed $1500 since the soft sided crate was rejected due to bad weather conditions and that I can rent one from the shipper (they said there would be a 100% refund once I received the puppy). Since the weather is perfect right now that actually tipped me off and demanded my money back, at which point I was ghosted. I want to make sure no one else makes my mistake and would gladly talk to anyone about my experiences if need be.
