I was contacted via text message in response to an application I put in for a job sent a link via text and told to download the app Telegram in order to schedule my interview with the hiring manager Tammy Miller. I did as instructed and went through what I believe was an interview process over the course of an hour and a half on the app Telegram. I was told I was hired and provided company details that weren’t very specific and given a start date. She required me to give her my first and last name, the city I was located in, my email address, and phone number. She also asked what banking institution I would like to use to receive my check via direct deposit. I was told my contact information was requested so our secretary could add me into their system so lovely the on boarding process and that I would be emailed I was never emailed and when I asked her for her and her secretary‘s contact information I never got a response. I also asked her if she was aware that the website appeared to be very vague and had no specifics as well as no contact information or information about the staff. She advised that I would be receiving a check to pay for equipment needed to begin working and that my training would start today at 8 AM at the rate of $18 an hour and that one training was completed I will be working Monday through Friday with a Maximum of 45 hours a week at the pay rate $28 an hour. After further investigation the website doesn’t seem to be legit there’s no contact phone number the email associated is a Gmail for the company the listing of clients doesn’t seem real and there’s no listing of any staff or contact number
