We ordered hay online and via text with haybalesbarn.com, Ahmarion Henson on 12/18/22. As agreed upon via text we ordered 32 large round bales (a truckload) to be delivered Tuesday 12/20 to our ranch. We sent $1200 via Zelle to Ahmarion Henson as requested and prepared to pay the remaining $2400 in cash or check upon delivery, as he instructed via text. On the morning of the delivery we received text message instructions to send an additional $1000 to an unfamiliar email [email protected] in order to receive our delivery. We texted, emailed, phone called to proceed with our original agreement, however, Hay Sales Barn, Ahmarion Hensen refused firmly, repeatedly. When asked for a refund, they likewise refused firmly. The original ad for hay was found on Craigs List, we reported it as scam. We have contacted the Atty General of TX, our bank, etc. We spoke with Ahmarion Hensen and he has no intention of delivering our hay, or refunding our money. This company is not operating legitimately. We have lost $1200 and have no hay to feed our cows.
