Two days before Christmas I located an out-of-state cat breeder online that claimed to have multiple kittens for sale. Part of their service (that they boasted of) was that they would ship the kitten to your door within 24 hours. They claimed to provide customers with all the flight information etc. Since I was in a rush to surprise my four children for Christmas, AND having the need to quickly find a hypoallergenic cat that we could keep in the house, I asked questions rather quickly and naively believed their answers (I've never been scammed in my life). After these scammers collected $2500 via Zelle, they stopped responding.......on Christmas Eve. The transaction went silent, no kitten arrived "at our door" and I couldn't get a response no matter what means of communication I tried. I called and texted for hours. Looking back, I see how phony it was, and how terribly criminal these people were. The bank could not reclaim the funds despite having a full investigation by my bank for over a month. This phony website is still up and running, full of lies in the hopes of preying upon innocent people just wanting a pet.
