Job posted on Indeed. Applied and received an email two days later from James Saulis at Houston Barricade and Supply to set up interview. I was told to set up the interview through their hiring manager Mrs. Susan Lake ID Number ( 479-397-0353) through signal app. Then she start texting me in very professional way. Then she asked question which i answered. After that she told me about duties which i have to perform and comapny will send me a cheque to buy the working material after that my training will started. After that she daily say good morning and arrange a meeting at every morning 9:00 am. She said that i have to buy the time tracker sotware which cost $ 100. So i paid it with Apple pay Gift Card which i bought from Walgreens. I also have the receipt. But next day when i ask for the cheque she send me the tracking number of the UPS courier. I put the number on the tracking but it shows no information. When i asked her she said the information will not be uploaded. After that i go the site and check more details and there i came to know that its a scam which someone already repoted. So kindly i want my money back.

I applied to a remote job on Indeed, the next day I got an email that had me download Signal to do an interview through text. I did the interview and started looking into the company and people more. It felt too good to be true and a little unprofessional. Then on Facebook the real Houston Barricade and Supply posted a scam warning with a very similar description to what was happening so I asked the "interviewer" if it was a scam. No response.
