I bought my car 5 years ago and I am not aware of any warranty. As the information started out as just the make, model, year, mileage, I gave him that information asking between each question what is the name of your company? and then asking do you have a phone number I can call you back on? I told him I was not comfortable giving any more information as now he was asking for my name, my zip code, and I kept saying give me a phone number so I can call you back. When I first asked about the name of his company a slight static started on the line. as I asked about his phone number the static became heavier, and as I was repeating over and over just give me your phone number, and he kept saying I have a license, I have a license--never the name of the company--and the static got so bad you could not hear anything and I hung up/he hung up.... I would say did he attempt to take any money? My answer would be not yet....
