I received a voicemail from a person named Lauren Kearney, who said she was from health and human services, and that there was an investigation into my surname and dental license in Puerto Rico, and she knew my name and my license number. She asked that I call her back asap.

Caller contacted main line of a medical facility and asked to speak to a specific physician. Caller claimed her name was Luann Tandy, and that she was calling from "Health and Human Services". She wanted to speak with the physician "regarding an ongoing investigation against [their] license". Caller provided the specific state physician license number. When offered the opportunity to send an email with additional information directly to the physician, caller declined. She instead asked to leave a message for the doctor and said she'd "be expecting a call back" at phone number 915-465-6046. Caller ID did not show any individual person's or organization's name, just the same phone number. Caller was very uncomfortable and spoke haltingly when pressed for details about herself or what the investigation was about.
