The following is the message I received on Facebook after contacting Mr. Larry ****.----Congratulation you are qualified as a Class A Winner and you are elgible to claim your Funds which was allocated to you as a Mega Bonus. Mr. **** said if I did the following, I would receive the corresponding grant scale, You pay $1,000 and get $50,000, You pay $1,500 and get $60,000, You pay $2,000 and get $70,000

You pay $2,500 and get $80,000, You pay $3,000 and get $90,000, You pay $3,500 and get $110,000, You pay $4,000 and get $150,000

You pay $5,000 and get $200,000, You pay $10,000 and get $250,000.

I received a phone call by a man c claiming to be from the federal government. This man said he works with Health and Human Service Department his name is Jerry Brown his government badge number JB 5126. Dares manjeri supposably from the government said that I qualified for a 14500 government grant individual free grant I did not have to repay but for me to go to Dollar General,Walmart, CVS, or some store to go pick up a registration card and to give him a call back so that they can transfer funds to the account. Jerry said call him back when I get to the store to get the registration card and immediatl within 5 to 10 minutes my money will be deposited.

I got a phone call stating that I have a once in a lifetime chance to receive a free Federal Grant and they're doing this due to the pandemic and they want to help people that want to better their self and better their lives. Anyway in order for me to receive the grant he said I needed to go to Walgreens and get a registration card that would say eBay one card somebody options and that I'll have to fill it out and anyways I would have to do that due to the pandemic they can't come over here we can't go over there so I would have to register to receive my money and for them to send me my money like you have to register for a food stamps or something he said hey tell me all I would need with me would be $300 and that they went he went to take my money and I'm saying that he didn't want my money and anyways after I did that he told me to scratch the redemption code the silver thing and give him the numbers and I did after the fact if I'm telling me that if you want to take my money he could already did it that don't make it get my money from me is if I gave him the numbers I was underneath the barcode that when they scanned the card you know they can to barcode so therefore it was paid for so he told me I was going to be the only way he can take money off of it so I didn't comprehend it at the time anyways long story short he's with me off and so my money they tell me I need to put $100 on my card and this thing you know and he got all my information so now I got to apply for identity theft and all

I was called by the Dept Health and Human Services claiming they were from the government. The gentleman who I spoke with Jerry Brown gave me this code to give: ****** Free individual

He asked me for my debit card info which I gave and shouldn't have and the preceded to ask how much I already had in my account and when I started questioning he called me a (DUMB A..) which was very unprofessional and should be looked into asap. If this legit don't scam the consumer we already have enough to contend with and now something like this comes along. I have tried calling back several times but no one answers, please look into this as quickly as possible because now they have my personal information.

I was contacted by an individual by the name of Justin Wilson claiming that I had received a one time grant in the amount of $14,589. Justin then referred me to Travis Smith with ID Number SS057 to collect the money for taxes on the grant. Travis was the one who told me to get ebay cards in the amount of $1,000. He then asked me to send a picture of the cards to him. He then asked for more money and that the grant will be on hold until I paid the remaining balance for the taxes. The total bill for the taxes was going to be for $4300. He stated he went to a store and got a Target card to help pay the remaining balance of the taxes. I have been in contact with Ebay and they were able to freeze the remaining amount of $35.

Received a phone call from Ms. Williams who claimed t be with Health and Human Services informing me that the government was rewarding

me the sum of $9000.00. The reason I was being awarded this money was because I had no criminal record for the previous three months

and I have a good credit rating. Ms. Williams said I had a choice of direct deposit or a money card, and all I had to do was give her the information. I advised her that if she was truly representing the government and I indeed was entitled to the money they should send a check.

Ms. Williams aggressively tried to convince me to give her my information, hung up on her.

They call you on the phone give you a. MAC# Which mine was #***. Along with this phone #3155631324 tell you to call that # then they proceed to tell you they will send you $9000 from the federal reserve government grant. All you have to do is send $250 thru western unioc, moneygram or give them you bank card. Once you do that they will give you a mtc# to get the money or they will send it to you acct. How ever you send them the money. Now this is suppose to be a free grant. Scam. Once I told him his name is oliver lee extion#505. That I was contacting you he starting saying no wait i didnt force you to send it. No you dont have to send it. You can just leave the money here etc.. Please check them out before they scam to many people.

the scammer called and said I had been randomly selected out of 1700 people in my geographic area to receive 9000 $ and that I could receive it either by direct deposit or by going to Walmart,walgreens,cvs,western federal credit union by going in and paying a 200$ registration fee he could not tell me what government system I was registering into they gave me a confirmation code for the grant and I have been called by a total of 3 numbers registered to Washington dc 2 of them are not active or real numbers those are 12028542216 and 12027594283 the one that is active is 12027806734

Person called said he was from the Health and Human Services. And asked me I was "John" . He verified my address and phone number. Said that I am receiving a grant of 14,566.00 from the government because my telephone number was picked. That I had never filed for bankruptcy. I verified the last 4 digits of my ssn and birthdate. I called that number and it sounded like the same person who called me. I'm not sure if this is a scam. But with the information they have concerns me .And if possible could I get a response letting me know if in this is a scam and what I should do. thank you
