Victim was contacted by someone claiming to be from Health & Human Services in Seattle WA stating that he was selected to receive a grant for $14,000 because he pays his taxes. Scammer said their information can be found on www.grant.gov (non-working) site. Victim did not stay on call long enough to find out how much he would have to send them ($).

Caller claiming to be Dwayne Dyer, w/foreign accent, wanting my doctor's information. Also called from 419-601-3633. I then hung up.

The caller said his name was Robert from Health and Human services. He said that I had been selected by the Government to receive $14,100.23 and that I was eligible because I was not a criminal, hadn't filed bankruptcy and had paid my taxes for several years. He told me to verify that they were going to send paperwork to my address, which I confirmed and all I had to do was give him the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told him to give me his phone number and I would call him back. He said not until I verified the last 4 digits of my social security number I told him it wasn't going to happen and he hung up on me.

I was called by Julian Mack saying that I was eligible to receive a grant in the amount of $14,566. They called 6 times in one day and they were phishing for my social security number. They hung up when I would not give it to them.
