Someone called me saying I qualified for a $14,566 grant. They said I was chosen at random because I paid my bills on time and had no bankruptcies. I was told all I need to do was to go to Walgreens and activate 2 ebay cards for $100 each and they would in turn load the money on the cards. This sounded fishy so I called ScamPulse.com who said it was a scam.

William Anderson called me and told me, I was eligible for a grant from Health and Human Services. I was to go to Walgreen and register somehow, I was to call him when I got to Walgreen to tell me what to do. I went to Walgreen and tried to call him but did not reach him. One phone number hung up on me and the other was busy. Then I called ScamPulse.com to check on this.

The caller had an accent.
