Scam

Put in my phone number and email and zip code, was just trying to view some health plans. Now I'm getting non stop scam calls. Please don't use that website.

I'm so angry too. I've had my same phone number for 2 decades. I've avoided scam calls for so long. Everyone else I know gets them non stop. Guess I am going to forever now too 😭

I received a call from a number I didn't recognize along with many other calls in the last couple of days, and I wanted to see what it was about. Upon calling, a person immediately picked up the phone and addressed me by my first name. They claimed to have a health insurance offer and transferred me to someone else.

This person, going by the name of Stace Falk, claimed to be a licensed health insurance broker. She took my name and birth date and detailed a suspiciously affordable health plan from Ambetter insurance. When asked whether I could receive the information by email prior to committing, she claimed I would have to agree before receiving any information.

She then had me look her up on LinkedIn and claimed to be a broker working out of Florida with Ohio licensure. She also repeatedly claimed she could be trusted and loved helping people along with a backstory about how she used to be an inspirational speaker. However if I didn't trust her and enroll, she had other people she could be helping. When I asked if I could call her back, she said "sure" but that she didn't believe I would, and that's when I decided to end the call.

I then called the original number to ask about their general operation. When they realized I had caught them in a lie, they started talking over me and rushed to end the call. Stace Falk's LinkedIn profile has since been deleted, and other profiles I found of this person seemed to have photos of different yet similar-looking women in an attempt to create a false identity.

Yesterday, I very foolishly entered my phone number to receive price quotes for health insurance. Within 30 seconds, I received a phone call from the business. A man answered the phone and said that he was going to transfer me to an agent that was going to be "my guy". I realized that I was about to be scammed, so I hung up. I received 50 calls from different phone numbers. I have received 5 this morning.

This business is fraudulent and they've sold my information.
