We found their website in June 2022 and selected a cat to purchase using the "buy" button. The sellers contacted us via email as well as SMS text messages. They requested payment for the cat + shipping via Wells Fargo Zelle. Once paid we were contacted by the shipping company to pay additionally for a crate for the cat for the transport. Payment again via Wells Fargo Zelle. Once paid we received a notification that the cat was now held by a City Animal Control department in Milwaukee and the cat will be held until we purchase a pet life insurance. When we declined to pay for this the communication ended. We contacted both parties multiple times to get our money back, but nobody returned our calls, SMS messages or emails.
