Today I drove 6 1/2 hours to pick up a puppy that didn’t exist. The address was somebody else’s personal address and not the business selling cavalier King Charles puppies. They were asking for half of the amount of the dog down as a deposit which we paid. They had a full functioning website and working phone number that we were using to communicate with each other. It was very believable. Unfortunately it was not real nor was the person named Juanita Perez that was the one I was corresponding with. Very disappointed and upset over this scam. My whole family is saddened and mad that we wasted our time and resources for nothing. We were so excited about the puppy. Upon learning the address and person was fraudulent our many attempts at calling and texting them have been unsuccessful.

I inquired on this website about a cavalier king charles puppy. I got a text the following day from a Leonida Kibet and the transaction was all dine via text messaging. She sent me pictures and a video of the puppy I was interested in. She sent me a contract and asked for half of the payment for the puppy to be sent via Zelle. I paid her half the purchase price and a $150 shipping charge to ship the puppy to my home. After this she sent me an email for tracking. Later the same day I got a call from a “delivery” company stating that I need to pay a “refundable” insurance to have the puppy delivered. I then became suspicious and I cancelled the transaction. Leonida Kibet was insistent that the insurance was refundable and that it was not a scam. I insisted on canceling the transaction and asked her to send my money back. Of course I never received my downpayment back. Because I paid via Zelle, it is considered a cash transaction and my money cannot be recovered.
