My bfs dad, 84 year old, went to get hearing aids from My Essentials. He has been paying for 2 years on his hearing aids. He has tried to contact the company and he can not get his balance due. He went to the business and they told him they couldn't help him cause the lady who sold it to him got married and moved to California. He asked me to research it and I found that they had bad reviews and if you call them it goes to an answering machine. When I began looking at his paperwork it is a "pyramid scheme". They didn't tell him he was paying to be in a club which they send a newsletter each month. The news letter and his paperwork show no physical address just a phone number and a website. He wants to know his balance for the hearing aids because he paid $1000 dollars down and each month they deduct $17.49 a month from his checking account. We feel like this is a scam and it is targeting seniors. I tried to find the business on ScamPulse.com website but it said it can't be found.

Women calls stating she's on a recorded line from a hearing aid company, if I push one I can be removed from list and asks if I can hear her. I said "yes," but I don't need hearing aids. Line seemed to be dropped or go dead when I asked can I be removed from their list. Pushed one.

I have received several calls over the past two weeks from a robocall calling about hearing services. Twice I have pushed the button to be removed from their list and it has not worked. Today I spoke to the person and when I politely told him to take me off his list and stop calling he told me "no, I will keep calling". I know the numbers are spoofed, but I can't get them to stop calling.
