I inquired about a Maine C o o n male kitten for sale at Heaven Sent Paws Cattery via email per website. Email sent back to me, signed Lance. Confirmed availability and asked for $300 nonrefundable deposit. Stated I could pick up at said location or can be shipped. Asked Lance if we could meet halfway, since a long drive for me. Plus, asked for phone number to discuss further details and my not feeling comfortable with deposit. No further communications with. I googled if they were a scam, and the results I found confirmed they were.

We called regarding a kitten through email. We received a reply within 10 minutes saying the cat was still available. We were told we needed to make a refundable deposit for $300 in order to reserve the animal. We were then given an address in Rochester N.Y. In order to go pick up the cat. After driving 5+ hours We messaged the seller that we were :30 minutes out and never got a reply. When we showed up to the address provided there was nobody there and all calls to the seller went unanswered. So we drove 400 miles for nothing to a bogus address and are out $300.

I wanted to purchase a Maine C o o n and sent them the money via PayPal, then they wanted more money to buy an expensive crate for flying. Texting only, and when I started asking questions, they started shaming me and asking me for people to give me more money for the cat. Now I know the cat doesn't exist, and I am out 1000.00 dollars, and I am grieving the loss of my cat and the loss of the fake one.
