Total money lost $340
Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
Texted me back later and said he had taken it to a shipping company, DXShipping and I needed to contact them with the number he gave me. I did and they texted there would be a $340 shipping charge. I texted back that I needed to check on it. I texted him back and he said that was normal.
They texted me back and said that I needed to pay the shipping or return the truck. I texted him back and told him this and I was a leary and he reassured me that he is doing this all the time. This went back and forth for a while. I was just hooked on the idea of getting a truck. The shipping company had me send the money via
Venmo to James Leisenring of DXShipping.
Then the so called Heavy kept texting me to see if I got the truck yet.
Then he and the shipping company started pressing me that they couldn’t ship it until I registered with Diesel Bros. I texted them that I was tapped out and all texting stopped. No response’s, nothing. I texted I wanted a refund, dead air nothing.
I got caught up, I didn’t have that money to lose. I was a fool.
During this I had given them my name, address, email.
