I responded to a Facebook job listing about a Heineken promotion - an agreement to install a car decal for 3 months, about $500/wk. after answering a series of questions over email (“application”) I was accepted and told I would receive a check for $3000. Then once the graphic designer came over to install the decal at my house, they would then give me the other half of the money. Also, I was told I would use the $3000 towards paying the graphic design company for installing the decal.

Almost a month later I receive contact from the company that the check should be in the mail. On my porch today 1/16 a Manila folder was left. It looks fake; clearly didn’t go through a mail courtier. In it is a check for $3000 and a letter explaining I have to text a number before depositing the check.

Today “Heineken” blew up my phone from 6 am to 4 pm on a Saturday; after weeks of silence. Texts and calls, very unprofessional in the texts. I told them to stop contacting me and they said the check is in the mail are you trying to run away with the money, I said don’t worry if I receive the check I will give it straight to the police and there response was, “why?” Then proceeded to call me 5 times, I ignored them. This was before I found the sealed envelope on my doorstep.

I was randomly selected for the Heineken Lottery Sweepstakes in the UK$859,0000. A pin number was provided and personal info. was asked to provide. The "contact person" is Sylvia Pieterse.
