Puppy scam. “Helen Vela” pretends to be a Basenji dog owner with a litter of puppies for sale. She claims to live in Regina, Saskatchewan. When I asked to have a video call to see the puppy I wanted to buy she said, “I don’t do video calls.” She did send pictures of puppies, but there were at least five different puppies at varying ages and none of the litter together. Lots of spelling and grammar errors in her e-mails and texts.
