On August 25, 2023, I happened to go on a resort tour and I mentioned to the presenter that someone had called regarding my points. I was informed that my points cannot be rented and are not for sale, plus no one from RCI would call me stating such. I was informed that other persons had reported something similar, from companies with different names, and that it was a scam. I was advised to call my bank immediately and place a stop on the transaction, which I did. When I called the company, asking to speak with the salesperson, I was told that he was not available, (although he had given me his "personal number," and told me that I could reach him at any time. The company also insisted that they did not tell me that they were associated with RCI. I however let them know that I would not have engaged in a conversation with the caller had I not been told this, because I even said to the person, "you initiated the call, how do I know that you are actually calling from RCI?" The person assured me that they were, and since they had certain information, I was tricked into believing that they were from RCI. This company and these people are scammers.
