Unknown number called, left the below message. Called the number back and got a rude lady who claimed I owed $7700 from a debt in 2007. She would never clarify the debt and give any explaination on it. She told me they would be filing in my county today. I called Chase (the last bank they claimed bought my debt) and they said they have no record of this debt. The next day, my mom calls me and tells me the same number called her. I have no idea how they got her information! I called Chase again and thy ran the number I was to call and informed me that number was not links to any of their departments.

I never gave her any information about myself, so I am not sure how she would know the exact amount of "debt" I owed. And I have no idea how she was able to contact my mom.
