To clarify a question below, I am an individual with a business.
Here is a situation I thought you should be aware of. I made contact with someone on one of the dating sites as a personal and business connection. But there are some inconsistencies. I wanted to see if you could look into this and tell me what you know. I apologise for taking so long to send to you, I was doing as much research as I could. This person is supposedly expecting a parcel to be shipped to me for safekeeping purposes because he is in Syria at one of the refineries working. The way he described it is that he was told by the border he had to send all his valuables back home or someone he "trusted". As you can see, according to the list of items in the package is valuable, but what is not there is an certain amount of cash over $500, 000.00 in the bag listed in the contents. *** ** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** ** *** *** *** ** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** Details:
Time sensitive matter, this parcel is to arrive tomorrow...time undetermined.
I'm to send payment before confirmation in order to ensure the package arrives and not to incur any other charges...That struck me as strange as well.
I was not sent a tracking number or identifier for the package.
I was told it would come to my door after I paid the amount and emailed the receipt. Not to pick it up at customs or that I had to go there to pay and collect.
I can not confirm all the details given to me by the person who contacted me, or by the company.
Name of person I made contact with is Wesley Arnold, from Florida, phone number I have been calling is 850-583-4097. It is registering as a Florida number. He said he has to use an old phone there that his iphone is in the parcel. But, if he is working on a refinery in Syria, I would think he would need a different sim card for that area because his regular phone was sent back and that is the one the provider is with. Typical possible romance involved, but he is a owner of a Large Income Business, Said he is an Engineer, Repairs and maintenance for Oil Refineries. He said he likes to travel a lot. One daughter living with boyfriend in another country. Has a dog. Closed the company down for the month while abroad because he did not trust his staff while away.
I forgot the name of the city he said he lived in. As you can see in the "certificate" things don't quite add up.
He said he runs his own company, again, he never gave me a name.
I did a reverse search on his picture, it only came up a couple times. When confronted, he did portray disappointment and upset for being researched. Said his image has been used before that's why he does not do anything by social media. Which again is strange because that's how we met. ( Tinder) he since took his profile down from there.
I have saved many of our conversations by text on my phone.
The shipping company does not have a valid phone number, and at the bottom of the email in the disclaimer section, it has a messenger link.
The first location given for the Wells Fargo account is a residential address, when asked about it they said its the home address of their banker. They then confirmed a different address for the bank. I called Wells Fargo, they would only tell me that it is a valid account. They would not confirm the name of the company this person works for.
