I went to this website to buy a black powder revolver. They said that they're banking was down and that they could only use zelle and I thought that was suspicious, but I've never been one to call someone a liar out front. The gun was $815 and upon doing what they told me to do to order the gun I was told that it was on its way and it would be here within one business day. However I never got a tracking number for my package and after persistently nagging them for a few days I finally got them to send you one with a really weird shipping agent who I would also like to report by just don't know if that'll be taken care of what this or not. The package made it to Nashville about an hour and a half away from me and then I got a call saying that been put on hold because I hadn't paid insurance on the package which had not been mentioned before. The insurance was apparently $700 for my package in case something were damaged or broken I would have to pay for it to be replaced. When I called the shipping company about this they just said that it was normal and that I should pay them out and it would be refunded up to 99%. I calmly told them that it's not my responsibility to pay for a package if it's damaged in their possession much less $700 worth of insurance. Surely after that they began to send me multiple messages calling me unprofessional immature and that I should just trust them and send the money. They told me I was missing everything up and that I had the choice to either not send the money and lose everything or to collaborate with them and gain everything that's word for word. I asked them if they would just send the package back to the original business so that I can get a refund and they told me that's not how mail works because if I don't pay the insurance it cannot be returned to the business. I told them that if the package managed to make it this far the insurance it did not need insurance to make it back to the business. After that the ghost in me until this morning where they have continued to try and get me to pay them an extra $700. Now I should also mention the shipping company and the heritage arms company I think they might be working together on this because when the shipping company wanted me to pay them they gave me the exact same zel account as the heritage arms account and they both had a very similar accent it didn't sound Hispanic or anything it sounded more Arabic. I don't really know what to do about reporting the shipping company because unlike the heritage arms I don't have as much information about them as of like phone number email and that sort of thing because the email that he tried to send me so that I could send them money wasn't even a real email it was just a series of random numbers with a PD at the front of it. I also thought the original email that they try to send me for the zelle account was fine too it was David is [email protected]. kind of a strange business email in my opinion. Either way they can call me throughout the night until 3:00 a.m. and constantly persistently nagging me from both ends just pay the money and that I will be able to get my stuff otherwise I'll lose everything.
