I applied for a job on LinkedIn.com and was told I had been shortlisted for an online interview. I did the interview and was told I had been offered the position and was supposed to be starting the on-boarding process. On-boarding consisted of ID verification (via Id.Me) and a background check. I sent a copy of my license and suddenly all communication had stoppped. They weren't responding to any of my emails and I was told I couldn't have a direct number to the H.R recruiter because my ID hadn't been verified yet. When I called the corporate number, I was told they didn't have H.R dept nor did they have a recruiter by the name I was given. I was also told the company had contacted LinkedIn and told them to remove the post. But apparently they have not.
