I know crypto.com is a legitimate company conducting business but the reason I felt compelled to select scam when filing this complaint was because I felt I had been scammed first of all and second of all they are a legit business so people trust them with their money which is what I did I trusted them a little too much. When I trusted them I knew there would be a fee for the transfer and I'm not very familiar with Bitcoin so when I saw .0006 I just clicked accept and it turns out that .0006 is around 42 dollars. So crypto.com took 42 dollars of a 100 dollar transfer. I'm sure this has happened to millions and millions of other people. The minimum transfer is 60 dollars but if they take their standard fee of 42 dollars that only leaves the customer with 18 dollars of their original 60. I feel like I'm safe in assuming no person in their right mind would do something like that so why crypto.com even allows someone to transfer 60 knowing they are going to take 42 dollars or 70% of the transfer is beyond me. The only reason that comes to my mind is so that people make the mistake of not looking at the fee and just hand over 70 percent of their money to crypto.com. seems and feels like a scam to me I'm sure there are millions of others who lost 40 bucks like me but I just dont want to see it happen to others especially if that also means that crypto.com profits from it.
