Once that had been all paid, we were told that we needed rabies for the puppy. The breeder claimed the puppy was 10 weeks old, the shipper said the puppy was 14 weeks, which entering Canada would require rabies. This was followed by a flight confirmation from the shipper.
I refused to pay for the rabies because the cost was almost $2000. That was when the extortion (threats) began. Our puppy would die in transit, we would be charged with pet abandonment, additional cost for food and water would be required and cost us more money.
I have stopped communicating with both the breeder and shipper. No further messages have been received.
