I was texted on my personal phone number and told by someone using the name LeRoy Thorn and he said I was selected for an interview process as a Data Entry Clerk with Audacy, Inc. He offered me $30.47 an hour for data entry. I didn’t believe it to be true, but I continued on and the guy texting me asked to continue the interview through Microsoft Teams. After he asked for my full name and location, I told him I wanted proof of legitimacy because I didn’t apply online for the company and he told me he bought my resume off of a third party app, Indeed, which I have been using in my job search. He continued with details of the job and I am now telling him, I know he’s a scam.

The name he used to text me was LeRoy Thorn, he then emailed me with the email “[email protected]” but using the name Hayden Sean Hudson. I looked on Facebook for a Hayden Sean Hudson and saw there was a man named Sean Hayden Hudson, he just switched the middle and first name around. On Mr. Hudson’s Facebook he states that he is an instructor and the scammer states in his introduction to me that he has a history in education.
