Phishing scheme

My business was contacted through noreplybbb.org with a message from a person (Shuichi Y o s h i t o) “International Consultants Manager” impersonating Hitachi Metals Ltd, they used the email ([email protected] ) asking if we would like to represent them as their US division. They sent us a fictitious check from a legitimate company. Be cautious of this scheme. It seems like they’ve been doing this for awhile

Fake employment offer form so-called "Hitachi Metals"

I received an email from a person named "Shuichi Y o s h i t o" he says he is the International Sales Consultant Manager of Hitachi Metals, Ltd Japan. Offered me employment as a representative to collect money from Hitachi Metals clients in the US. The first email was sent through BBB saying that they have found me through BBB and email message reads the following "Hello, I represent Hitachi Metals Ltd. We would like to employ your services as a private contractor for account receivable in your region on a 10% commission and a monthly salary allowance. It is a part-time job that takes less than an hour of your time daily. If you are interested, reply to the company's email; for further details. Shuichi Y o s h i t o International Sales Consultant Manager Hitachi Metals, Ltd Japan"
Later he sent contracts to sign for the MOU and business partnership. Just be aware it looks very real but when you look into it more there is no phone number, and the email domain address was very similar to real Hitachi Metals to deceive you. I also feel bad for Hitachi Metals, such a prestigious company, and for its name to be used in this phishing.
